Each Avocado Foundation is built with a solid wood frame and reinforced for durability - designed to replace a traditional bed frame. The Standard Foundation handles up to 600 pounds with ease. The Heavy Duty Foundation, on the other hand, is a reinforced powerhouse that supports up to 2,000 pounds. It's the ideal base for our Extra-Firm Mattress or any sleep setup where unyielding support is crucial.

Whether you're a larger sleeper or just want peace of mind, you ll get the durable, sag-resistant support your mattress needs to last longer and feel better.

Our Avocado Foundation with Legs functions as a sturdy, standalone bed frame - no box spring or additional frame required. Built with a clean, modern design and tool-free assembly, it offers lasting support and maximized airflow. Our standard foundation features four legs and supports up to 600 pounds. For more robust needs, our new Heavy Duty Foundation with Legs is engineered to support up to 2,000 pounds, with up to twelve legs and four crossbars (two in each direction) for extra reinforcement. Both versions are just as easy to set up and are 7.25" tall. Choose from dark brown 6.25" or light brown 7" solid wood legs. Compatible with any mattress.

Made from Rubberwood, a dense, harvested timber from rubber trees in Vietnam that have reached the end of their latex-producing life (usually after 25-30 years).
Slats & Center Rails:
Up to 14 slats (2 packs or 7 slats) are 2" wide, placed 3.25" apart, and 11/16" thick. Standard has 2 center rails for all sizes. Heavy Duty has 3 center rails for Twin, Twin XL, and Full. 4 center rails for Queen, King, and California King. Wood is sourced from spruce, Pine, and fir in the USA.

That means only 15% of our manufacturing waste ends up in the landfill - we upcycle or recycle the rest. Since we began Project Zero Waste in 2020, we've been a pioneer in the space, increasing our waste diversion rate by 33%. We are the first mattress and bedding company to achieve this.
