| GOTS CERTIFIED ORGANIC PILLOW |
For a luxurious and premium finish, we use GOTS-certified organic cotton (CU863637) in a soft, natural color blended with 3% elastane for functional stretch and enhanced durability-fully compliant with GOTS standards. The natural fill is a mix comprised of GOLS-certified organic latex, made with 95% certified organic latex, the highest possible standard, and sourced from our facilities in India and Guatemala, plus GOTS-certified organic Kapok fiber (CU863637), also sourced from India. All material processing, cut & sew, assembly, and packaging are performed at our factory. A convenient zipper makes it easy to add or remove fill to suit your sleep preference.

| NO CHEMICAL FLAME RETARDANTS |
The Avocado Green Pillow contains no chemical flame retardants, which are known to release VOCs and impact human health. We do not add them because we believe they generally do more harm than good. (FYI: Pillows are not required to pass the Standard for the Flammability of Mattresses and Mattress Pads, issued by the CPSC. Therefore, it is logical that ignition sources should be kept safely away from any pillow that contains natural materials without the use of chemical flame retardants.)

| PILLOW CARE |
Spot clean your cotton cover in cold water with an eco-friendly laundry detergent. Lay flat or hang to dry. Do not use bleach. Allow to dry completely before putting the cover back on your pillow. Fluff your pillow regularly; an excellent time to do so is when you make your bed in the morning.

Your Green Pillow comes with an extra fill bag for simple, customized comfort. To add volume to your pillow, or to extend its life, you can add pillow refill. Additional refill packages can be purchased in two convenient sizes.

A law label is a legally required tag or label on a new mattress or pillow describing interior filling materials. Few companies will share this information before your purchase because it separates fact from marketing hype. We believe differently. Here is what the legal tag on the standard Avocado Green Pillow says: Made in California with domestic and imported material. As a Climate Neutral Certified company since 2019, we've measured Avocado's annual cradle-to-consumer emissions, offset them by investing in climate change solutions, and started taking real action to reduce our emissions. We also recognize our offsets and reductions aren't enough. Solving climate change will require systemic solutions. That's why, through our partnerships with Ceres and the American Sustainable Business Network, we also advocate for state and federal policies that support equitable solutions to the climate crisis.

| PROJECT ZERO WASTE |
We're proud to be certified by UL Solutions for a landfill diversion rate of 85%. That means only 15% of our manufacturing waste ends up in the landfill - we upcycle or recycle the rest. Since we began Project Zero Waste in 2020, we've been a pioneer in the space, increasing our waste diversion rate by 33%. We are the first mattress and bedding company to achieve this. If any product that bears the Good Housekeeping Limited Warranty Seal proves to be defective within two years from the date it was first sold to a consumer by an authorized retailer, Good Housekeeping will refund the purchase price or $2,000, whichever is less, or, at Good Housekeeping s sole discretion, repair or replace the product.
